I discovered a trick that allows more than 30 hashtags to be posted in an instagram post. Essentially you post 30 hashtags to a comment then edit your original post with an additional 30 hashtags. Why would you want to do this? Well, I’ve personally found it to increase the exposure of my posts to 2x the audience, so effectively 1.5-2x the number of likes.
Thanks to itchban for initially posting this trick, but the steps I take are the following:
- Step1: Upload your initial post with zero hashtags
- Step2: Immediately post a comment to your post with 30 hashtags
- Step3: Edit your initial post with an additional 30 hashtags
